The medium weight signs are intended to be mounted on buildings or in areas where bending is not a problem. The heavyweight signs are intended to be post mounted.
The medium weight signs are .040" thick and therefore should not be mounted on posts, as they will bend easily. They may be mounted onto buildings with no problems.
The heavyweight signs are .080" thick, which is the thickness of a typical STOP sign. These may be mounted on posts or on buildings.
Posts are available in either galvanized or green enamel finish. The standard U post size is 8 feet, but other sizes are available upon request.
