Simply remove the two screws from the side of the frame and slide out the directory strips that need changing. While changing the signs is quick and easy, the directory remains vandal resistant since the frame and divider strips actually "cup" the directory strips in place.
Each directory strip is 2 1/2" x 12" which allows for ample space for raised lettering and grade 2 braille.
The standard color combinations are the same as with our ADA Signs, so color coordination is readily achievable. As with our ADA Signs, custom colors are available at a slight additional cost.
See our Technical Bulletin explaining the proposed changes to the ADA regarding braille. These proposed changes are nothing new to us, since we have always made our braille to these new requirements.
